HVAC Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated HVAC Design Specialist to join our team. What We Offer:

Pay Range: 55,000 – 65,000/yr.

Hours: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday

What You Will Do:

As the HVAC Design Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our organization. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with installation, dispatch, warehouse, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate customer service, following company standards and procedures.
• Collaborating with customers on duct designs to meet their unique HVAC requirements.
• Directing and supervising the HVAC installation team to ensure accurate and efficient HVAC designs.
• Conducting site visits with homeowners to assess heat loads and energy needs.
• Utilizing specialized software including Wrightsoft, Energy Gauge Software, and JLink for design and energy calculations.
• Creating duct drawings and designs for permitting purposes.
• Reviewing permit plans to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborating with service technicians to obtain heat load data for accurate estimates and quotes.
• Demonstrating proficiency and minimizing errors in the design process.
• Travel throughout Central Florida is expected for this position.

What You Need:

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Efficient duct plans review.
• Quick turnaround on heat and energy calculations.

• Proficiency in design software usage such as Wrightsoft, Energy Gauge Software, and JLink for design and energy calculations.
• EPA Universal
• State Certifications: Home Energy Rater; RESNET a plus
• A minimum of five (3) years of HVAC residential service experience, including diagnostic troubleshooting and repair of air conditioning and heating systems.

• At least three years (3) of HVAC Service Technician experience with the ability to train others.
• Physical dexterity to occasionally lift and move 100 pounds or more, averaging 4 times a week.
